Even in 2005, when TEn first began trading, the main marketing activity of the long establish DR networks was constantly to canvass each others members in the hope of getting them to switch. This was because there was a diminishing pool of Brokers, un-recruited into networks for them to to go after.
Indeed, when one network held a conference at a venue somewhere, another network would turn up and attach advertising material to all of the cars in the car park. Held in place by the windscreen wipers.
Such a frightfully good wheeze!
Naturally, most of those competing networks have now been merged.
Of course, this was always the logical and extreme conclusion of a diminishing number of independent UK Brokers.
Today, the situation between AR networks is heading in the same direction. All work on Acturis, most operate on the basis of a commission split, whilst others simply dress it up a different way. Therefore, it is not a major issue to make the change, if you feel so inclined.
TEn will look at every application on its merits, but we DO NOT ambulance chase.
What will happen eventually to most AR networks, as night follows day, is consolidation and merger.
So, the thing to think about is, which ones are least likely to be sold-on, possibly to somebody unpalatable, within the next 5-10 years?
Almost uniquely, we think that we tick that particular box.
Obviously, among the many other boxes that we tick.
Site map coming fairly soon...
...in the New Year probably.
The site map will be an aid to navigation around our various websites. Of course, these sites have just undergone a major structural update and things are still changing.
So, it’s a bit like when a supermarket periodically shifts things around, either, just for the hell of it, or, because they have decided to squeeze in a click & collect point, where the bread used to be.
As stuff relocates, consequently, leaving the signs above the ends of the aisles as they were before, could become confusing.
Our current situation here is very similar.
Mind you, whether before or after the reorganisation, you can never find the Tahini paste. You always have to ask.
