Introduced early in 2018, the relatively new directive means you, plus any other advisors you may employ, must complete a minimum of 15 hours learning time if you don’t have any Insurance qualifications.
If you do, it’s a minimum of 35, with at least 21 of those being structured.
Regulations aren’t stagnant, they are always evolving and changing, something you really need to keep up with. What’s more, new products continue to come into the market and learning about them is crucial. For instance, Cyber cover is a hot topic and has been for a while now.
There’s still a lot of confusion about this, so attending a webinar or two would not only be great for you, your business, importantly your client too, but it also counts towards your CPD.
As an AR Network, here at TEn, we want to support our members in achieving these Continual Professional Development hours. Alongside regular updates about webinars, Insurers may be hosting, we also have access to an online platform specifically designed to aid your learning.
On this platform, you will find a huge selection of material, alongside courses our compliance team have specifically selected because of their importance and relevance. This removes hassle for you.
We appreciate you have a business to run and you want/need to ease the burden of sourcing learning materials. Sifting through to find what is useful to you is a waste of time, that could be very well spent elsewhere.
What’s more, access to a learning facility - such as this - is actually a way of increasing your income stream, by opening you up to new business opportunities. For example, you are thinking of offering Fleet cover, but not got any experience?
That’s ok, the learning tool will start with a gap analysis, gauging just how much or how little you know, following which you can begin learning.
